Sixth grade student sues President House officials over plagiarism. The speech was recorded and is supposed to be on air on PTV on Dec 25, celebrating the 141st birth anniversary of Founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

When Sabeel reached at the President’s House, he learnt that he will not deliver the speech.

He alleged in his petition that a student of tenth grader Ayesha Ishtiaq delivered the speech which Sabeel had written and prepared, charging that his intellectual property was filched.

According to Sabeel’s attorney, vide Section 3 of Intellectual Property and Copyrights Ordinance 1967, a literary piece that the person has produced himself cannot be used by anyone without his / her consent.

The court reserved the judgement.
